SCD Information Technology (SCDIT) is currently seeking full-time Systems Engineer 2 (SE2) to join our dynamic and growing team to support an important Intelligence Community customer. The contract provides the government customer with capabilities for the definition, prototyping, development, and production of visualization and presentation services.

Description:
The SE2 will support the User Experience (UX) team. The UX team collaborates with developers, managers, and system engineers to ensure intelligence products remain modern, cutting-edge, and highly usable. The team researches and documents user workflows, designs intuitive front-end systems, creates mockups, engages with users for feedback, and works closely with multiple development teams to enhance analyst tools. The team uses tools such as PenPot, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Experience and Qualifications
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required to start.
  • 14 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 19 years without the degree.
  • Experience in each of the usability and software engineering cycle phases.
  • Experience creating user interface design specifications through researching and documenting user requirements including profiles, frequent tasks, workflows, and user scenarios while working closely with application developers.
  • Experience directing/conducting usability testing.
  • Proficiency in one or more design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, XD, and PenPot.
Desired Additional Skills:
  • Certifications related to Human Factors Engineering or Human Centered Computing are a plus.
Salary Range: $197,900 - $221,200


The pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. These considerations include, but are not limited to, government contract labor categories and wage scale, the extent and intricacy of the role’s responsibilities, the candidate’s educational background, their work experience, and the specific competencies crucial for success in the role.
