Lead Electronic Security Technician

Position Summary:
SCD Information Technology LLC is seeking candidates for the position of
Lead Electronic Security Technician. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting enterprise level electronic security systems. A successful candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, schematics, and diagrams. Maintaining and repairing electronic security equipment, including alarm systems, business security systems, closed-circuit video surveillance, and fire alarms in addition to identifying and troubleshooting basic network-related problems on hardware or software.
Responsibilities:
• demonstrated capability to plan and lead the installation and programming of commercial electronic security systems
• ability to direct other installation technicians on the proper techniques of installation
• strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and specific tools of the trade
• knowledge of low voltage cable
• physical ability to work on ladders, in elevated heights and lift over 50lbs
• excellent communications and customer interaction skills
• background in MS Office Suite
• experience and certifications in major electronic security product brands
• understanding that nights and weekend work may be required
