In this exciting role, you will work closely with our Human Resources team and all Division Directors. This position will be on-site at our corporate office located in Columbia, MD. In this role you will…
Recruit and deliver top talent by creating and executing innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns.
Source and screen suitable candidates from contact lists, databases, online employment platforms, and social media using Boolean searches.
Contact potential hires about open positions and conduct thorough candidate prescreen interviews.
Assess candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience, and recommend highly qualified candidates who meet the requirements for the role.
Promote the company’s recruiting activities through active participation in social media engagement, outreach, job fairs, and other networking events.
Develop and ensure implementation of high-quality recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes.
Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements.
Manage the interview process; schedule interviews, maintain interview reports, and provide effective communications with candidates and the hiring manager throughout the process.
Write and edit job descriptions.
Manage the company’s candidate database.
Develop and maintain relationships with individuals in the industry for the purposes of future hiring.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience recruiting within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
Knowledge of the security clearance process.
Experience hiring technical candidates. (Example fields: Software development, System Administration, and System Engineering).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
The ability to conduct several types of interviews.
Good decision-making skills.
Qualifications:
3-6 years’ experience in technical recruiting
At least 1 year experience recruiting within the DoD or Intelligence Community
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of study such as human resources management, information technologies, psychology, etc.
