SCD Information Technology is seeking a Document Clerk for a Brand New Contract located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The ideal candidate shall perform data entry of hardcopy or handwritten softcopy data into various data storage mechanisms (i.e., databases, spreadsheets, data entry forms).


  • Pull physical files as requested for review within one (1) hour of request
  • Log reviewed files that have been returned and file recons to the appropriate location (i.e., to be scanned or returned to its physical location)
  • Collect mail to be scanned from the mail room
  • Open and sort mail received from various sources (i.e., emails printed, mail from mail room, mail delivered from other offices, etc.)
  • Add mail to be scanned to the scanning and indexing batch
  • Sort scanned mail into the respective file
  • Submit requests for archived boxes as requested by Security Office and collect requested boxes from the mail center.
  • Remove all requested files from archive boxes, then seal and submit request to return the boxes.
  • Create, update, and delete records in the Personnel Security System of Record.
  • Assist other LCATS as requested

  • One (1) year experience working with basic office resources (email, web browsers, word processors, presentation graphics, etc.) and a High School Diploma or GED. Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to perform tasks that involve repetitive motion of the fingers, hand, arms, feet, legs, or other body parts. Must be able to move boxes that weigh up to 25 pounds.
  • Must hold an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
